Fiorino

A concept platform bringing the Renaissance idea of patronage into the digital age.

Overview

Culture is funded behind closed doors: creators wait on committees, and patrons rarely see where their money goes. Fiorino is a concept platform that brings the Renaissance idea of patronage into the digital age. Businesses become patrons, a decentralized community decides which projects get funded, and every step stays on record.

  • DirectNo middlemen between patron and creator
  • TransparentEvery investment, vote and payout is on record
  • Community-ledPatrons decide which projects get funded

Not a fund. Not a platform. A community that decides, together, which culture deserves to grow.

How it works

Four steps. No middlemen.

  1. 01

    A business invests

They become a patron: instantly, transparently, on record.

  2. 02

    The community votes

Patrons decide together which cultural projects get funded.

  3. 03

    Creators get funded

Directly. No application black box, no waiting on a committee.

  4. 04

    The loop continues

A share returns to the treasury, funding the next wave of work.

For Curious: Token Mechanics Explained
  • Dual token system

    Fiorino / FLR-M

Fiorino is the utility currency that powers transactions across the platform. FLR-M is a non-transferable proof of patron status. It can’t be bought, only earned by participating.

  • Governance

    DAO voting

Patrons collectively decide which projects receive support, making every funding decision transparent and accountable.

  • Reputation tiers

    Apprentice → Creator → Master

Creators start small and build trust over time: 3 to 5 verified projects move you up a tier, unlocking access to larger funding pools.

Glass, gradient, and a Renaissance palette

The design relies on glass and gradients. Glassmorphism serves as a visual metaphor for transparency: clear, open, and honest. Dynamic gradients reflect constant movement, with value and trust flowing freely between people rather than remaining locked away.

Approach

At its core, Fiorino asks if blockchain can serve real values rather than pure speculation.
My approach was to translate a complex Web3 ecosystem with dual tokens, DAO structures, and funding mechanics into a clean, intuitive experience that speaks like a human, not a technical document.

My Role

Fiorino was a three-person collaboration. I led web design and UI, translating the brand and 3D direction into a working, navigable platform: information architecture, the how-it-works flow above, and every screen shown here.
